Colour can be associated with certain shape, mood, material, object etc. My interest was to see how other people relate to colour and what does it mean to them.
I got in touch with people who perceive colours in different ways than usually others do due to their special condition called synesthesia(which means “joined perception”).Synesthesia people often perceive colours in combination with other senses like smell, movements and sound.
During the interviews I’ve asked them to bring some personal examples of these perceptions, and then I’ve narrowed these down to categories using colours associated with motion and letters, and turned these into a mix media result with posters and small stop motion videos created from the posters themselves.
